Some milestones call for more than a quiet nod. They call for a shout of gratitude. This November, Centenary United Methodist Church in Memphis marks 161 years of ministry, faith, and service, and we want you to be part of the celebration.

Anniversary Celebration: Sunday, November 15th

Join us as we gather for a special service of worship, thanksgiving, and celebration. Our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Vance Ross, author and pastor of Central UMC in Atlanta, Georgia.

For 161 years, God has been faithful to this congregation. Through every season, Centenary has stood as a place of worship, a place of welcome, and a place of work in the community. We will honor that rich history together, give thanks for those who laid the foundation, and look ahead to the future God has planned for us.

Whether Centenary has been your church home for decades or you are visiting for the first time, we hope you will join us for this special occasion.

Date: Sunday, November 15th
Time: 10:30 AM
Location: 584 E. McLemore Ave., Memphis, TN 38106

Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway: Saturday, November 21st

Our anniversary is not only about looking back. It is also about living out the faith we celebrate. The United Methodist Men and the Anniversary Planning Committee are proud to announce our Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway, where we will help 100 families prepare for a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

This is what community looks like: neighbors helping neighbors, and a church putting its faith into action. John Wesley taught us that faith is shown through works of mercy, and this giveaway is one more way we answer that call.
