Prayer Ministry
Mission Statement
- To increase and encourage the believers’ awareness
of the need to pray and provide the practical tools for this endeavor.
- To
encourage the church to take prayer as seriously as worship, outreach
and other areas.
- To stress that the outpouring of prayer will enrich all
of the ministries of our bellowed church, with God’s vision
power.
- To pray for the power to do the work of God, wisdom to serve its
community, and grace to touch this world for Christ.
The Prayer Ministry invites
everyone to come and utilize the Prayer Room. The room provides a comfortable,
quiet and serene atmosphere with two
private booths, a prayer request box; volunteer intercessors are also
available. The Prayer Room is open everyday during office hours from
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; on Saturdays from 10 AM to Noon and on Sundays from
9:00 AM to Noon. Also join us on Mondays at Noon as we pray for unity
and a deeper sense of family in our congregation.
Centenary has been and continues to be blessed with an abundance of
talent. If we would use all of this talent to its fullest potential doing
the
work of God, there is no limit to the shower of blessings!
