Project Transformation Summer Program
Project Transformation will be returning to Centenary in the summer of 2017! Project Transformation is an
eight-week summer enrichment experience for children in grades 1-6 hosted by a United Methodist church
located in an economically disadvantaged area. All the activities are led by a team of college interns who plan and organize bible lessons, recreation, and reading skills
activities.

Funding for Centenary Project Transformation 2017
Soulsville USA neighborhood non-profits were invited to request assistance in purchasing tools, supplies, and other items that may be needed to further current programming. Implementation dollars may be used to help purchase items and/or services. This was not grant funds but an effort to help neighborhood non-profits, churches, and schools that may have existing programs designed to serve residents of Soulsville USA. Because of this focus, we requested funds to support the 2017 internship component of Project Transformation (PT). Centenary was awarded $1500 to support one (1) intern stipend. Thanks to Mr. Ben Ivy for serving as the Soulsville Liaison and apprising us of this opportunity! Let's give God the Praise!

led in song and praise.
